Stage 7: Masterful McEwen

Another stage, another crash, another heroic breakaway. The hero today Florian Wegmann from Gerolsteiner, encouraged by the idea of crossing his country Germany ahead of the peloton, he rode alone away for about 150Km or 90 miles. He got caught before the end, but he was rewarded with the polka-dot jersey and the combativity jersey.
The stage win was settled by a masterful sprint by McEwen.
Looking ahead for tomorrow in the mountains (finally! ). I am looking forward to lots of attacks, early on by Wegmann and Voeckler for a fight for the polka-dot jersey but specially at the last climb with T-Mobile (probably Vino) attacking Lance Armstrong. I can't predict the outcome of stage 8, but boy it's going to be exciting.
